How to Choose a Professional Directory
Signals that matter: clear policies, restrained photography, neighbourhood structure, and honest labelling of demo content.
A professional directory should make its own limits obvious. If profiles are fictional, say so. If verification is a UI badge rather than a background check, say so. Visitors should not have to decode marketing language.
Look for neighbourhood and category pages that contain distinct writing. Thin pages that swap a place name and nothing else are a poor signal, both for readers and for search engines.
Finally, prefer sites that keep photography non-explicit and that route contact through a documented channel. This project is a frontend demo: the contact form does not send messages.
